Estimates

For smaller projects, we will provide a lump sum estimate that includes allowances for any unknown finishes. The estimate will also outline a detailed scope of work to ensure all aspects of the project are clearly defined and accounted for.

For larger projects, we begin with an 'opinion of probable cost' that will give a price range for the project. Due to the complexity and numerous variables involved, it’s not feasible to start with a fixed price. These projects require a design agreement to assess existing conditions, define the scope of work, determine the desired level of finish, and develop floor plans and renderings. To support this process, Ryder Home Remodeling collaborates with a network of trusted designers, architects, and engineers, ensuring the right expertise for your specific project. By the end of this phase, we will have finalized all selections, completed the floor plan, and provided an accurate, detailed estimate.

Construction Agreement

Once the scope and price are finalized, a construction agreement is signed. We then begin by ordering long-lead items, applying for permits, and setting a project start date.

Pre-Construction Meeting

Approximately two weeks before construction begins, we’ll hold a preconstruction meeting to review the project scope, outline work areas, discuss dust control measures, and go over the project schedule.

Pre-Construction Meeting

Construction

The duration of the project and the extent of the work area will be determined by the project scope. Typically, progress meetings are held weekly to review the schedule and key points and answer any questions. Chris will be on-site daily to monitor progress and ensure everything is running smoothly.

Project Completion

Once the project is complete. We show the customer through the newly completed space demonstrating mechanicals, discussing maintenance items, and reviewing the Ryder Home Remodeling warranty.
